The 2025 WroCup of Nations is behind us!

On Friday evening, the premiere edition of WroCup of Nations took place - an international friendly tournament that brought together representatives of many nationalities under the dome of the Football Arena. The event was born out of the idea of connecting different cultures and communities through soccer - a common language that everyone understands. From the very first whistle, the unique atmosphere was palpable: flags, national colors, music, and cheering in different languages created an unusual atmosphere of a sporting celebration.

14 teams representing different countries and cultures took part in the first edition of the tournament. The competition began with a group stage, during which the teams were divided into 2 groups of 7 and played each other in a round-robin system, without rematches. Then it was time for the knockout stage - matches between teams that finished in parallel positions in their groups, which allowed the final classification to be determined.

The knockout stage provided a lot of excitement and twists and turns. As many as four matches were decided after a series of penalty kicks, which only emphasizes the even level of competition and the determination of the players, who played to the last ounce of their strength for every point and every place.

There was no shortage of excitement from the first to the last match - the tournament was full of spectacular goals, spectacular saves by goalkeepers, and matches decided literally in the last seconds. In most cases, sporting ambition went hand in hand with respect and a friendly atmosphere, which perfectly reflected the idea of the whole event, but this was not always the case.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all teams for their participation and sportsmanship, to the fans for their fantastic support, to the referees and technical staff for their professional conduct of the tournament, and to the event partners for their organizational support.
